Hey guys, it's been a while...

Hey there web-friends! We know it's been a while since we've shared some work on the site and we apologize profusely. Things have been pretty hectic here at BGP. Aside from creating films for new couples we recently made the move to Baton Rouge. But our NOLA friends have no need to fear! We'll still be in the New Orleans area at least once a week; it's just a quick drive down I-10.

We hope you accept our sincere apology for not updating the blog recently. To make up for it we want to share one of our favorite films from the past few months. From the first time we talked with Jessica and Tim (or J + T as they prefer to be called) we knew their wedding was going to be different. They both had a lot of different ideas about what they wanted their big day to be, and we were STOKED from the first phone call. It was clear that this wedding wasn't going to be the typical New Orleans wedding.

It would take a pretty extensive blog post to talk about all the unique details from the wedding, so we'll keep it down to a few things we really thought were cool:

1. Rock-and-Bowl Rehearsal Dinner: This was the most fun rehearsal dinner we've ever been to. It was so cool to see people from both sides of the family get to know each other while bowling and it really got people talking to each other. Super cool idea, and the "Team Bride" and "Team Groom" shirts were EXTRA cool. They even had a custom shirt made for Brock that said "Team Bride and Groom". Sweet!

2. Personalized Vows: There's nothing wrong with the traditional vows, but there's something special about vows that are written from one person to another. It allows a completely different level of personality and depth that we LOVE. The vows in this film are awesome and you really get a feel for J+T's personalities through them.

3. The Dogs: It's no secret that we're big cat people here at BGP, but J+T's dogs were pretty rad. We knew Nolie and Cookie were a big part of J+T's life and we wanted them to have a recurring role in the film. They were on hand throughout the wedding day, even making an appearance in the wedding ceremony.

Those are just a few of our favorite parts of J+T's wedding, but there are a TON of other little details sprinkled throughout the wedding that made a huge difference. It was a great experience getting to know them and their families over the two days of filming. We're super excited about their story and can't wait for you to see their film!
